  7. The VERITAS Visual Administrator (VxVA), winner of the SCO Open Desktop
  8. ``Product of the Year'' award for system utilities, brings graphics-based,
  9. object-oriented virtual disk administration to Open Desktop and SCO UNIX with
  10. Xsight. VxVA has been available on RISC and CISC minicomputers and workstations
  11. worldwide, is an integral component of the UNIX International Roadmap, and is
  12. now available on SCO UNIX and SCO Open Desktop

  14. VxVA greatly simplifies the normally complex tasks associated with disk storage
  15. administration by supporting visual management of the configuration. Icons,
  16. which appear graphically as disk drives and divisions, give you the ability to
  17. use ``drag and drop'' operations in combination with ``pull down'' menus to
  18. create, manage, and tune virtual disks. You can now create mirrors, stripe or
  19. span file systems, or move the contents from one disk to another to improve
  20. performance without interrupting normal operations, with a few clicks of a
  21. mouse

  23. VxVA also supports visual performance analysis and tuning. Green, yellow, and
  24. red shading alert you to the relative performance of disks or portions of
  25. disks. With the click of a mouse, you can eliminate bottlenecks and increase
  26. throughput, without interrupting users

  28. VxVA is used in conjunction with VxVM to maximize system availability, increase
  29. disk I/O performance, protect against data loss, and significantly reduce the
